Network Service Disruption

Incident Report for Campus Technology Services Status

Resolved

Starting at approximately 7:12 a.m. today, Nov. 18, some network services became unavailable from on and off campus. Some services were intermittently available or completely unavailable. At approximately 9:47 a.m. today, Cloudflare applied a fix that resolved the issue and they will continue to monitor. Internet services are now working as expected.

Investigating

Starting at approximately 7:12 a.m. today, Nov. 18, Campus Technology Services (CTS) was made aware that some network services became unavailable from on and off campus. Some services are intermittently available or completely unavailable. The issue stems from an Internet service (Cloudflare) that many organizations utilize. The services impacting SUNY Oswego include, but are not limited to:

SUNY Oswego websites
Brightspace
SUNY Administrative Services, such as Jaggaer

As we learn more, further updates will be posted to the Campus Technology Services (CTS) status page.
