On Jan. 22 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m., Campus Technology Services (CTS) will work with a service provider to perform equipment upgrades affecting access to the campus phone system on and off-campus, and specific network service at Rice Creek and the Office of Workforce Innovation and External Relations (OWIER) downtown location. How this affects you: 1. Phone Service (Campus-wide) During this window, most campus desk phones will be limited: Incoming Calls: People calling from off-campus will not be able to reach you or leave a voicemail. (The only exception is x2500). Outgoing Calls: You will not be able to call any off-campus numbers. 2. Full Service Outage (Specific Locations) The following locations will not have data or phone service during the maintenance: Rice Creek The OWIER downtown location What you should do: Use Cell Phones: Please rely on mobile devices for any necessary off-campus communication during this time. Emergency Contact: If you have an on-campus emergency, you may still use your desk phone to call University Police. If you are off campus or there is no desk phone available, please call 911. Rice Creek and OWIER locations: Please plan for a total loss of connectivity during the window listed above. Further updates will be posted to the CTS status page.
